A light brown and white she-cat was curled up in her nest. Her flank rose and fell with each breath. The pelt of the cat was groomed neatly, showing it had been washed just before she had gone to sleep. A fluffy tail was covering her nose, as if trying to keep herself warm. Rather suddenly, her light brown eyes flickered open. The den was dim. This meant the sun was covered by clouds again. Sitting up the she-cat stretched. She was rather surprised that none of her Clanmates had come in to wake her. 'It must be sunrise.' Cherrystar was the name of this she-cat. The leader of MarshClan. Cherrystar licked at paw, swiping it over her whiskers and ears. Standing up, she yawned, still somewhat sleepy. Padding out of the den, Cherrystar flicked her ears at the light rainfall that pattered onto her pelt. 'Good morning, MarshClan.' Her pawsteps were light as she padded over to the fresh-kill pile. Not much was there. She would have to have Birchfrost send out a hunting patrol once he woke up. Cherrystar sat down where she was, curling her tail neatly around her paws. The camp was quiet. The only sounds were the light rainfall and steady breathing of her sleeping Clan.

A long haired mixed gray she-cat was curled up on one of the nests that was next to the entrence of the den. Two blue eyes opened as a small hole in the den, just small enough to let a few raindrops into the den, hit down on her head, easily waking the light sleeper up and into awakeness.
The seven moon old she cat blinked and slowly uncurled herself from the tight ball she had wrapped herself in when she had struggled to sleep the night before, after she had stunck out of camp that night, to practice her hunting(She hadn't caught anything, because of the rain.) and fighting. She softly rose to her paws and quietly walked out of the apprentice den, before she stepped outside. Her ears drooping ever so slightly, as she saw, heard and felt that it was raining again.
A strange look came onto the she-cats face. A look she always got when she was about to speak, but was searching for the right words. "...It's.... raining.... again...." She said out loud, to herself. She looked around the camp, thinking that the other cats would be sleeping, but she was wrong, her leader wasn't sleeping, like Fadedpaw had thought.
Fadedpaw shook her head, and flicked her ears, trying to get the water out of them, before she made her way over to Cherrystar. She dipped her head respectfully to her, once she was near the leader of Marshclan and had stopped. "...Good... morning.... Cherrystar..." Fadedpaw meowed softly as she had stopped a face tail length's away from her leader and the freshkill pile. The unusually slow she-cat was looking at the freshkill pile as the look of disdrain slowly crossed over her muzzle and into her blue eyes. "...If... if... if... Birchfrost... s-s-says... ....it's.... ...OK... Can... I go... on... the... hunting... patrol...?" She asked.

The shuffling of fresh moss and the kicking of bracken sounded from the largest den in the camp. The warriors den, where Ebonyroot stirring in his sleep. She was sleeping near the entrance, in her opinion to be the absolute worse place in all of camp to doze, and the sun had crept it's was past the undergrowth and unto her face. Oh, the she-cat fought it as well as she could, tossing and turning around to keep the light out of her gaze, but it was no use. The warrior would just have to deal with the fact that it was time to get up. With a groan, Ebonyroot heaved herself from her nest and stepped outside to the land of the living. The sunlight turned out to simply be a tease of nature. What had seemed to be a bright and sunny morning was simply a patch in the clouds. The light, steady rain had come onto her black calico pelt, and the she-cat couldn't help but snort. She should have been able to smell the rain. The warrior must be more tired then she previously thought. Her bright eyes took a few seconds to adjust to the slight mist before they swept a glance around the MarshClan camp clearing.
Let's see, well, there wasn't much too see. The clan was just starting to wake up, and the night's vigil was heading off to bed. Cherrystar was sitting by herself, for once the first cat to be up in the morning, and the only other noisy creature that caught Ebonyroot's eyes was Fadedpaw. Woah, woah, wait. Fadedpaw was up before her? Before everyone else? The she-cat twitched her ear at herself. She must have been knocked out or something. Maybe sudden sickness swept over MarshClan. Weren't the apprentices the ones who always wanted to sleep in? That's how she was at least. Well, that's how she still is. Ebonyroot caught the look of disappointment on the young she-cat's face when she saw the fresh-kill pile. The warrior sighed, who could blame her? It wasn't even leaf-bare and the heap was already down to almost nothing. With a twitch of her tail, she padded over to the others.
"Where is Birchfrost anyways? He's usually the first one up." Her green gaze swept over the clearing once again. That wasn't the reason she had come over here, the she-cat usually wasn't one for idle chit-chat. She meant to volunteer to go on the patrol also. There wasn't anything better to do.

A brown tabby shuffled about in his moss bedding, kicking and groaning. Birchfrost, Marshclan’s deputy, got up sluggishly. He looked around the warrior’s den. His droopy eyes almost burst out of his eye sockets. Every other warrior had woken up except him and he was deputy, who was supposed to wake up first thing to arrange the patrols. He shot out of the den and cringed at the sudden blast of sunlight. Cherrystar was talking to Ebonyroot and Fadedpaw over by the kill-pile. He rushed over to them, wincing as he worked up his limp. ‘I-I’m so sorry, Cherrystar,’ he stammered, bowing his head respectably. ‘I’ll send out the patrol straight away’. Birchfrost looked around but found it easier just to choose the cats that were in front of him. ‘Ebonyroot, Fadedpaw, how would you like to go on patrol with me?’ he inquired, keeping the yawns out of his mouth.

Rivenclaw let out a low hiss of sheer disdain as he maneuvered himself carefully away from the over hang of leaves from a small bush that had kept him dry, for the most part. His broad shoulders hunched forward as he stretched, moving from his sitting position as he slowly flicked his tail high in the air, as to not allow it to drag on the ground that was slowly turning muddy, and starting to fill up with puddles of rain. His red eyes where filled with annoyance, he was never a fan of the rain.
As he moved away from the leaves saving him from the raindrops, his dark brown pelt was pelted and soon beginning to droop from the droplets of moisture. He licked his lips, flicked his tail and lengthened his strides till he was standing to Cherrystar's right, and Fadedpaw's left, whom was next to Birchfrost and Ebonyroot.

Several big slaps of rain hit a white striped she-cat and ran down the grove of her nose, causing a shiver to travel through her body. Her eyes opened with a soft groan as she blinked open her amber colored eyes. A yawn tore itself from her throat. The young she cat decided at that point to get up. She slowly stretched out her legs, before arching her slinder form. This young she-cat was only 7 moons old, an appretince of Marshclan.
She smoothly slide from her nest and out of the apprentice's den without making a sound, she had the uncanny ability to be so light on her paws that she could even sneak up on Rivenclaw if she so chose to do so. This white she-cat was smaller is form then most, but she made up for it with being able to be so silent and quick. Her name well it fits her quite well, Silentpaw is her name.

'Hello Rivenclaw,' Birchfrost chirupped. 'I need more cats to come on dawn patrol, would you like to come?' He opened his mouth and let the scents flood his mouth. He could recognize Silentpaw among the rest of the cats. He had always focused on catching her scent since she was the most silent cat of all. He turned away and greeted her. 'Hi Silentpaw'.

Rivenclaw felt his lips curve into a grin. He gave a Curt nod of his head before his ears flicked back on his head and his red eyes narrowed landing on Silentpaw. He still wasn't too thrilled with her at what she'd done the other day. He'd nearly clawed her ears off her kitt-ish behavior. "Of course Birchfrost" he replied, his tail lashing in the wind, as it picked up its power.

Silentpaw grinned her almost gold eyes shinning. They were like a cross between gold and orange it was rather pretty to some. She had her father's eyes and her mothers coat and body type. She nodded her greeting to the others. Her eyes locking with Rivenclaw's she gave him an Innocent blink of her eyes, although the mischievous look didn't leave her eyes and her body seemed to shake with silent laughter.
"Morning Birchfrost, Cherrystar, Fadedpaw, Ebonyroot" she greeted dipping her head to each cat as she named them. Her gaze landed on Rivenclaw again. "Rivenclaw" she finally said his name, the mischievous look clearly all over her face now, as her tail lashed back and forth in a playful manner, she was only just recently become an apprentice she could still have some fun if she wanted too.

A smile curved over Birchfrost's features as he moved over to the camp entrance, hiding the limp that ached in his back leg. He flicked his tail gracefully, signalling for the other cats to follow him. 'Silentpaw, you can hunt before your training,' the deupty purred. 'Now, lets go gang'. Birchfrost maneuvered his way across the soggy ground, listening to the rusting of the ferns that sprouted out of the soil and the chirping crickets that the spotted frogs fed on. He opened his mouth slightly and let the smells flood his body. Fresh, rich, moist smells surrounded him. He sighed joyfully and trotted along the border of the Marshclan territory, his bushy tail raised high. -> To the territory section we go

Cherrystar's whiskers twitched. Her Clan was slowly waking up. "Good morning, everyone." She mewed, knowing it would have taken much more time to state all of their names. Cherrystar focused her gaze on each cat in turn. She flicked her ears dismissively, as if telling Birchfrost it was all right he had slept in. "Enjoy your patrol." The she-cat purred, waving her tail as she watched the cats leave. The rain was still falling, and Cherrystar's fur was slowly decreasing in size from the weight of the water that was collecting in it. Her light brown eyes dropped back down to the fresh-kill pile. Hunting needed to be done as soon as possible. "Fadedpaw," Cherrystar mewed, looking up from the fresh-kill pile at the young she-cat, "Would you like to go hunting with me?"
ooc// Hehe. I hope Fadedpaw didn't go on the patrol xD. I would look like a doof if she did, haha.

Fadedpaw turned her attention to Cherrystar when the older cat called her name. She blinked and waited for what Cherrystar to speak. Fadedpaw blinked, taking in the request she had just gotten. She nodded. "...S-s-sure..." She said, perking up immediantly. Glad to have something to do.

A yawn escaped the jaws of a three legged warrior. Threeleg blinked open his eyes. He perked his ears up and slowly rose out of his nest and made a beeline for the entrence of the den. "Did I miss dawn patrol or something?" He thought, watching as the cat's left, leaving only Fadedpaw and Cherrystar.
Threeleg shook out his pelt as he walked over toward the two cats. "Good morning, Cherrystar, Fadedpaw." He meowed calmly.
(Not a very great post. Blame writer's block.)

Cherrystar purred, standing up. She always enjoyed hunting with apprentices. It was always so fun getting to teach them the proper ways and praising them when they did a good job. Absorbed in her thoughts of where to take Fadedpaw hunting, Cherrystar jumped slightly in response to Threeleg. "Good morning, Threeleg." Cherrystar mewed warmly, turning her gaze to the warrior, "Would you like to come hunting with Fadedpaw and me?"
ooc// I'm so sorry that it's so lame xD.

Fadedpaw nodded. "...Good... Morning... Threeleg..." Fadedpaw said with a smile.
Threeleg dipped his head. "Good morning to you as well, Fadedpaw, Cherrystar." He meowed. He turned his attention back onto Cherrystar. "I wouldn't mind going, as long as I'm not interrupting your outing?" Threeleg asked, wanting to know if he was going to be interrupting the she-cats and their hunting that they were going to do.
